We believe that aspiration is vital in giving young people direction, motivation and belief in their own potential. It helps them to set personal goals, face challenges head on and make positive choices. Aspiration helps young people to build and secure strong friendships and a recognition of the importance of community. It enables them to engage fully in lessons and learning, embracing the outcomes that follow with a feeling of pride and a job well done.  

Advance:

We believe that when young people are aspirational they are more likely to set themselves clear goals, stay motivated, show kindness and work hard. This positive mindset helps them to develop confidence and grab opportunities that support their personal growth, education and future success. They advance as a result of this.

Achieve:

We believe that being aspirational and striving to journey forward allows young people to achieve - academically, socially and personally. Strong grades, knowledge, skills, confidence, wellbeing, optimism and positivity are just some of the many attributes that we want our students to possess when they leave our school and take their next steps into young adulthood.
